Enhancing Oxygenation in Shrimp Farming with Nanobubble Technology

Greenano's CEO, Dat Nguyen, in collaboration with Shrimp farmers in Vietnam conducted experiments to determine the efficacy of nanobubble generators for use in the aquaculture industry
Experiment Set Up
The parameters for the Ponds were as follows:
- Area: 1,600 m2
- Height of water: ~2 m
- Salinity: 5 ppt
- Day of start culture: 15th August.
- Density: 100 shrimps/ m2
Experiment Pond:
- Only use 1 MNB device 1”, with a 300 Watt water pump motor. No traditional paddle wheels were used.
Control Pond:
- Without nanobubble generator device, 2 traditional paddle wheel systems were used for oxygenation.

Significant benefits with Nanobubble Technology
The results of the experiment are as follows:
1. There is consistently higher dissolved oxygen levels in the experiment pond.
2. Electricity consumption is low in the experiment pond. The experiment pond (300 W) and control pond (3,200 W).
3. The water in the experiment pond looked a lot cleaner.
